Since its origin in 1934, Weisman Art Museum has been a campus museum for the University of Minnesota, located on the Twin Cities campus. Explore art and ideas in the galleries, get creative in the Open Studio, and spend an afternoon in the Weisman's remarkable Frank Gehry-designed spaces, overlooking the bluffs of the Mississippi River. Museum admission is always free and open to the public.

Open Studio
Each month, the Weisman's Open Studio presents a new self-guided art-making activity inspired by an art piece or artist from the museum's collection. All materials are provided; the activities are free and open to anyone during regular museum hours.
