What does it mean to be a part of MACC?

  • We stand up, support, and know the true wealth of arts and culture in Minnesota. Our work is to better equip MN leaders with the support and resources to best serve their community.

We advocate for arts and culture funding, connect with legislators, and prioritize breaking information for our sector.

  • Join our monthly meetings on the last Wednesday of each month. During these 1-hour sessions, we’ll discuss topics from fundraising and year-end campaigns to government policies to strategic planning and more.

  • Community is at the core of MACC. Being a part of MACC means recognizing, supporting, connecting, and collaborating with other arts and cultural leaders across the state of Minnesota, giving voice to the topics and people that are most vital to our work and supporting our unique communities and audiences.

  • 3-4 times per year, MACC hosts an in-person gathering for connection and camaraderie. You can find more information about upcoming events in the connection section above. Want to support or host an in-person event? Send us an email mnartsandculturecoalition@gmail.com

  • MACC was founded in March/April 2020 during the initial lockdown of the COVID pandemic and served as a space to share masks, personal protection, policies, and other essential communications. MACC continues to support organizational resource and information sharing amidst new laws and policies affecting our sector.

  • Each month, our coalition-wide meetings feature guest speakers from Minnesota legislators to the Council for Nonprofits to industry leaders. If there are topics that you would like to see discussed, please reach out to mnartsandculturecoalition@gmail.com
